Who We Are
About ISKCON Dublin
A vibrant spiritual community in the heart of Ireland.
Our Mission
ISKCON Dublin is dedicated to promoting the well-being of society by teaching the science of Krishna consciousness according to the Bhagavad Gita and other ancient Vedic scriptures.
Our History
ISKCON, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, was founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in New York City in 1966. The movement quickly spread worldwide, and today there are over 600 temples, communities, and centres on six continents.
The Dublin centre has been serving the Irish community for many years, offering programmes that include:
- Sunday Love Feast — weekly kirtan, class, and free vegetarian feast
- Bhagavad Gita Study Circle — midweek study groups
- Festival Celebrations — major Vedic festivals throughout the year
- Food Distribution — regular prasadam distribution to those in need
- Youth Programmes — activities for children and young people
